Randy Udell is the State Representative of Wisconsin District 47, which includes Fitchburg, Stoughton, portions of McFarland, and the towns of Dunn, Dunkirk, Rutland, Albion, and Pleasant Springs. He also serves as the Wisconsin Democratic Party Treasurer.

Udell was born in Beloit, Wisconsin and graduated from UW Whitewater. He worked for the Maryland Attorney General and the FBI before beginning his thirty-year career as a telecommunications engineer for AT&T. After retirement, he served on the Fitchburg City Council as the Council President and the Chair of the Finance Committee and on the Dane County Board of Supervisors. He was later elected to the Wisconsin State Assembly.

Udell lives in Seminole Forest in Fitchburg with his husband Brad, their rescue dog Cooper, and a number of rescue cats.

Introducing our new Sign Up Genius for Pride Events! Our volunteers have pitched in for many of the time slots so there are just a few left to fill, plus more opportunities may pop up before the end of June.

We continue to volunteer at the Dane County Farmer’s Market. We will be at our usual spot on the corner of W. Main and S. Carroll Streets every Saturday through September 26, 2026. (Except for September 5, that’s the Taste of Madison.) Two volunteers are need each week from 8:45 – 11:15AM. We can help you work with a seasoned volunteer if you have not previously participated. More details will be provided as you need them.
